Chex Mix

Chex Mix

Adapted from the recipe on a Chex Cereal box.

Ingredients
6 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp onion powder
9 cups Chex cereals
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup pretzel sticks
1 cup garlic flavored bagel chips
Cheez-It squares.
I usually sprinkle on some Tony Chachere’s seasoning. 

Directions 

1.      Pre-heat oven to 250.
Melt butter in glass container in microwave and add seasonings. 

2.      Mix Chex, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips, etc. in a large high pan (I use a roast pan) Sprinkle butter/spice mix over Chex mix and stir gently until coated. 

3.      Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. 

4.      Spread on paper towels to cool. 

5.      Store in air tight container.
