YUM!
Baked in a Medium Loaf Pan |
1
cup butter
2
cups sugar
2
eggs
1
cup sour cream
1
teaspoon vanilla
2
cups flour
1
teaspoon baking powder
¼
teaspoon salt
Topping Ingredients:
6
Tablespoons brown sugar
2
teaspoons cinnamon
1
cup nuts
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar, butter and eggs until smooth; slowly add sour cream and vanilla. Sift and add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix at medium speed until smooth. Grease and flour 10-inch tube or Bundt pan. Pour in 1/2 of the batter, sprinkle with 1/2 of the topping, and then add the other half of batter and remainder of topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. When finished, mix some 10X sugar, milk, and about 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Drizzle over top of the cake to frost.
Note: I usually bake small or medium loaf pans instead of the Bundt pan. One to give and some to freeze. Usually makes about 3-4 loaf pans depending on the size you use.
