Sugar Cookies

The BEST Sugar Cookies in the world and easy to make!
1
cup butter or margarine
2
cups sugar
2
whole eggs
1-cup
salad oil
Pinch
of salt
1
tsp. Vanilla
2
tsp. Baking soda
2
tsp. Cream of tartar
5
cups flour
Cream
butter (thoroughly) and sugar (use electric mixer). Then add next four
ingredients until a creamy texture. Then add next 2 ingredients-blend well.
Slowly add flour.
Roll
into balls about walnut size. Dough should be soft. Roll ball in sugar and
flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. (You cannot use too much sugar!) Decorate with sprinkles if you wish. 12 cookies
to a sheet.
Bake
10-12 minutes or until lightly browned at the edges in pre-heated oven of 350 degrees.
